I am very saddened to read about Maha's struggles with cancer and her passing.

Although we didn't work together, we shared a floor space at the UN. I was a few cubicles away but was often happy to hear her laugh and be joyful.

Never would I have imagined that she was struggling with cancer.

My deep condolences to Maha's family and loved ones.

She was a bright and intelligent, cheerful lady. Her sense of humor was lovely.
